The painting shows a nude woman lying on her left side. She has her knees pulled up high, almost like a fetus. Her right arm is between her legs. She is wearing purple and blue stockings and a flower in her hair. Her hair is brown. Against her back a green cloth. The composition is very colourful.

Provenance: In 1975, this work was acquired from Gallery Birch in Copenhagen by a Danish art collector. Gallery Birch acquired the work from the artist. Gallery Delaive purchased the work from the Danish art collector. Delaive and Ting have been close frineds since 1985. The son of Walasse Ting has confirmed authenticity of the work.
