Cast bronze with cold, green patina

A bronze statue, cold thus green patinated of a centaur, half human, half horse. The figure is a female with long hair on the left, her left arm bent and in front and her right arm raised with two fingers stretched. Stylistically, is shows the influence of the late cubistic years in combination with the rounder more decoratively style of the thirties.

Signed ‘Zadkine’ on the base

Conservation: Use soft brush to remove dust. Carefully apply a little clear bee wax once every year, but be careful do not polish off the patina!
